The Maxxis Aspen ST 29 x 2.40 is a lightweight, high-performance cross-country (XC) race tire designed for speed and efficiency on dry, hard-packed trails. Featuring a low-profile tread pattern, it minimizes rolling resistance while maintaining reliable traction, making it ideal for short track and XC racing. The Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30mm inner width rims, providing a better fit and improved cornering stability. Constructed with a 120 TPI casing, the Aspen ST balances suppleness and durability. The MaxxSpeed compound enhances rolling efficiency, while the EXO sidewall protection guards against cuts and abrasions. Being tubeless-ready (TR), it allows for lower tire pressures, improving traction and reducing the risk of flats.
